Avoiding Acne Infection

What causes acne infection? It is actually caused by poor personal hygiene, wrong type of diet, and using the wrong skin care products.

As a personal hygiene habit, change and wash your pillow case often, at least twice or thrice a week. Washing your face at least twice in a day with antibacterial or hypoallergenic soaps is another acne prevention. Do not scrub your face frequently as this might lead to the spread of germs all over your face. Do not also overwash your face.

Before going to bed, remove all your make-ups. Some personal experience prove that unwashed make-ups  will really cause acne infections.For an inexpensive acne treatment, take at least 8 glasses of water on daily basis. Water will hydrate the skin and improve the body’s general health.

Exercise regularly to keep you from having acne infection. The circulation of blood is increased during exercises, and this removes the toxins building up within the body. More fruits and vegetable must be taken everyday to nourish the skin.

Alcohol intake must be reduced as well as alcohol containing body lotions. Non- oily moisturizers must be used if your skin is rough and dry. Have your hair cut short and wash it thoroughly. Astringents can be applied to the face to remove excess oil.

Never, never try to pop out pimples on the face. If you squeeze out pimples regularly, it could lead to swelling and acne infections.

Wearing sunscreen when you go outdoors will also help avoid acne infections. Stress must be avoided. Multivitamin intake is advisable and is highly recommended to be taken on a daily basis. Chromium supplements can heal pimples . Apply honey mask two or three times a week, It is a perfect disinfectant; it can heal minor blemishes caused by pimples and acne infections.

Take fruits and vegetables for a regular supply of zinc mineral in your body.
